Post Grad- Movie Review

To Malaysians, if you're wondering what movie this is, it hasn't come to Malaysia yet. Of course, after watching it, i would put this movie under the heading "Get the DVD" (Malaysians, you know what this means)

I got to know about this movie while going through Alexis Blendel's Filmography on IMDB, i was in the gilmore girls fan phrase, for your information. Watched the trailer, it looked fairly entertaining, as most trailers are, sadly. To put it in simple words, i found this movie boring. In the end, the only reason i continued watching till the end was because i was a fan of Alexis Blendel. Here's the sypnosis from IMDB, for those who are interested.

"Ryden Malby graduates from college and is forced to move back into her childhood home with her eccentric family, while she attempts to find a job, the right guy, and just a hint of where her life is headed."

If you ask me, from that, there's lots of potential in the story, instead, they went into stuff like liking older men and highlighted on the eccentric family of hers. The father character being so immature was just irritating, the brother was plain weird, character wise, i somehow get the feeling the writer didn't quite know what kind of weird she wanted the brother to be, so she just made him an all rounder. The ending was predictable, absolutely predictable, when i saw the girl inside, i knew what was gonna happen already. Although, i must say that i liked the final punch line "what..you mean they're all coming?" added with the actors movement, probably the last consolation for going through the whole movie. I wouldn't recommend this movie if i were asked.

Rating: 4/10
