Personal Taste (Korean Drama)

This drama is about this guy Jeon Jin ho (Lee min ho) who is mistaken as a gay guy and allowed to live as a roomate to the girl Park Kae in (Son ye jin) who needs the money to repay a debt.

I found this drama a few days before my accounts exam i think, yes, very very bad timing. What got me interested was the basic storyline and lee min ho. What i like about this drama is that the characters get together earlier than usual so it's not like you're forced to see them like each other but dare not confront the other. That, for me, is very very irritating. The chemistry between the characters is good and they're really such a cute couple. It's the typical, indifferent and focused guy falling for the clutzy and free spirited girl. The other thing that i like about this drama is that i actually like the 'other' guy. Normally, i'm wishing that guy just disappear, but this time, that guy actually had character development and turned out to be quite decent. A little gullible, but decent. Only because the 'other' girl is so evil and self centred you want to strangle her. Let me put it this way, she just wants anything the main heroine has for the sake of taking it away from her. There are a few references to gay stuff but it's a love story between a guy and a girl so it doesn't go deep into exploring those issues (which is kinda good too for me) in fact, it's just used to carry the story, so to speak. I like the soundtrack too, very nice, some catchy and fun too.

I would recomend this show, just for light and easy viewing. It's only 16 episodes after all, so it's not going to drag much like those shows that go up to 24 or even worse 52 episodes. It also gives you a chance to have a new view of lee min ho without tha curly hair if your last drama of him was boys over flowers hahahaha.
